The KickFlip Records studio is located in a mountain landscape in the appalachians to give you the perfect warming and creative ambiance during your session. Only a 30 minutes drive south from the city of Rimouski, QC.

Nothing better than a musician behind the mixing board to understand the needs of a musician! The technical director of the studio studied music (drums) at college and have more than 15 years of experience in sound, recording and sound systems. Enjoy some great tips during your studio experience to get to the next level. 

PROFESSIONAL SOFTWARES AND GEAR

We’re working with Logic Pro software on the Mac platform and we use many professionnal plugins in order to reach the sound that the artist want. We use pro quality microphones (Sennheiser e900 Serie, Shure, Rode, etc) and a professional audio interface (Soundcraft UI24r). We can capture up to 20 audio tracks at the same time. 

A UNIQUE SOUND

The walls of our studio are in natural wood, so you’ll get a warm sound that can be feel when listening back. The cabin experience that you’ll get all along your session will make sure you get both a productive and relaxing experience. We even have a wood stove and a humidifier when times are cold and dry for a comfortable experience.

We are registered as a non-profit organisation and our goals are to support the emerging music scene. We believe in a fair and affordable access to professional recording studio to support emerging artists and contribute to musical creation in the region.
